America, Inc.: The Prophetic Demise of Main Street in the Digital Age

I don't get out much these days. After nearly getting killed investigating child trafficking a few years back, I've turned into a bit of a hermit. But every now and then, I have no choice but to brave the great outdoors. Today was one of those days.

I bundled up, hopped on my e-scooter, and zipped down to the local Dollar General. The fluorescent lights and chemical stench hit me as soon as I walked in. It's the same soulless experience in every town - Main Street is dead, and the corporate machine has taken over.

The Prophetic Demise of Small-Town America

This isn't just my anecdotal observation. We're witnessing the systematic destruction of the American small town, just as the Bible prophesied centuries ago. From Revelation to Daniel, Scripture is clear that the end times will be marked by a global economic system that consumes local communities.

"He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16-17)

The Rise of the Corporate Machine

Dollar General is the physical manifestation of this prophetic warning. With over 18,000 locations, they are aggressively gobbling up small towns across the country. Main Street dies, the local hardware store shuts down, and every community starts to look the same. Soulless, digitized, devoid of character.

And it's not just Dollar General. Amazon, Walmart, and a handful of other megacorps are systematically dismantling the backbone of America - the independent small business. Just as the book of Daniel foretold, a "little horn" is rising up to "devour the whole earth" (Daniel 7:23).

The Great Reset is Upon Us

Make no mistake - this is all part of a calculated agenda to centralize power and control. The global elite are engineering a "great reset" that will end private property, cash, and the traditional economic system as we know it. And the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated this timeline exponentially.

As a biblical scholar, I can tell you with certainty that these events are unfolding exactly as Scripture predicted. The technological capabilities to implement a totalitarian, cashless society already exist. And the powers that be are moving swiftly to make it a reality.
