"And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark..." (Revelation 13:16-17)

I used to venture out more, but after that stabbing incident while investigating child trafficking, I've become a virtual hermit. These days, most of my provisions arrive in brown boxes from Amazon. But sometimes I have no choice but to brave the great outdoors of what we still call "civilization."

Today was one of those days. Bundled against the frigid winter, I zipped down to the local Dollar General on my e-scooter. The harsh fluorescent lights and institutional smell hit me first - that vague chemical stench of plastic and cardboard. Just another soulless corporate box, I thought, as I scanned the shelves full of cheap, disposable goods.

The Slow, Steady Death of Main Street

This scene has become all too familiar across small-town America. The quaint Main Streets that used to define our communities are being systematically dismantled, replaced by the rising tide of corporate giants like Dollar General. Faced with the ruthless efficiency of these big box behemoths, local mom-and-pop shops can't compete. One by one, they're forced to shutter their doors.

It's not just the erosion of our small businesses, either. This creeping corporatism is consuming the very fabric of our towns - the unique character, the sense of community, the soul. Every place starts to look the same, a sterile reflection of the global agenda playing out before our eyes.

The Mark of the Beast

But this is no mere economic shift. As Bible-believing Christians, we recognize the prophetic significance of what's happening. The technology exists right now to fulfill the "mark of the beast" foretold in the book of Revelation - brain chips, digital currency, surveillance that tracks our every transaction.

The globalists seek to reduce us all to faceless cogs in their machine, stripped of our individual identity and freedom. They want to control what we buy, where we go, even how we think. And they're using the veneer of "progress" and "convenience" to lull the masses into compliance.

A Call to Resist

Church, the time has come to open our eyes and see the spiritual warfare raging all around us. The soul of our nation is being devoured, one small town at a time. Will you heed the call to resist the Mark of the Beast? The battle for our very humanity is upon us. We must rise up and fight, for the sake of our children and grandchildren who will inherit this world.

The clock is ticking. Revelation's prophecies are unfolding in our lifetime. Will you be found faithful when the Lord returns?

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
