"Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast." (Revelation 18:2)

I don't get out much these days. After a near-death experience investigating a child trafficking ring, I've become something of a hermit, ordering most of my supplies online. But every now and then, I need to brave the outside world. Today was one of those days.

As I stepped into the fluorescent-lit Dollar General, the sights and smells hit me like a gut punch. The harsh institutional brightness, the faint chemical odor - it all felt...unclean. Poisonous, even. Like I was stepping into the very jaws of the beast.

The Corporate Takeover of Main Street

This isn't the first time I've had this feeling in a Dollar General. These stores are popping up everywhere, consuming small-town America like a hungry virus. Where there was once a vibrant Main Street, now stands a generic big box retailer, its soulless aisles draining the life out of the community.

It's not just my imagination. The numbers don't lie. Over the past decade, Dollar General has expanded from 8,000 locations to over 17,000 - closing in on Walmart as the largest retailer in the United States. And they're not stopping there. Their goal is to have a Dollar General within 5 miles of 75% of the American population.

The Prophetic Connection

But this isn't just a story about corporate greed and the death of small-town America. There's a much deeper, more disturbing pattern at play - one that was foretold thousands of years ago in the pages of Scripture.

The Book of Daniel describes a series of prophetic visions, including a terrifying vision of a "fourth beast" - a ravenous empire that "devoured and broke in pieces" everything in its path (Daniel 7:7). The prophet Daniel is clear that this beast represents the final, most powerful world empire before the return of the Messiah.

Now, as we watch the systematic destruction of local economies and the homogenization of once-vibrant communities, the chilling truth becomes clear. Dollar General, with its ruthless expansion and soul-crushing uniformity, is the fulfillment of this ancient prophecy. The handwriting is on the wall - the end times are upon us.

The Cashless Trap

But the prophetic warnings don't end there. The Book of Revelation also foretells a time when a global economic system will be controlled by a "beast" - one that will force all people to receive a "mark" in order to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16-17).

The technology exists right now to make this a reality. Brain chips, digital currency, biometric scanning - the infrastructure for a totalitarian, surveillance-based economy is already in place. And as Dollar General continues its march across the country, requiring its customers to use digital wallets and contactless payment, we can see the blueprint being laid out before our eyes.

Wake Up, America

My friend, the time has come to open your eyes to the truth. The corporate takeover of Main Street is not just an economic phenomenon - it is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, a sign that the end times are upon us. The powers that be are engineering the collapse of our way of life, ushering in a new world order where they hold all the power.

But take heart. The same Scriptures that foretold these dark days also promise the ultimate triumph of God's Kingdom. The beast may reign for a time, but its days are numbered. The King is coming, and He will establish His rule over all the earth.

So, heed the warning. Prepare your heart. For the handwriting is on the wall, and the clock is ticking.

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
