The Sickness of Main Street I don't leave my house much these days. After a run-in with a child trafficking ring left me with severe PTSD, I've become a bit of a hermit. Most of my supplies come from the internet, delivered in brown boxes from Amazon. But sometimes I have no choice - I have to brave the outside world.

Today was one of those days. I bundled up against the bitter winter chill and zipped down to the local Dollar General on my e-scooter. The harsh fluorescent lights hit me first, that institutional brightness that makes everything look poisoned. Then the smell - plastic, cardboard, chemicals. A stench of soullessness.

The Prophecy of Decline This corporate takeover of small-town America didn't happen by accident. It's the fulfillment of ancient biblical prophecy. The prophet Daniel foretold of successive empires that would rise and fall, each more monstrous than the last. And now we're watching the final beast system take shape right before our eyes.

The Tribulation Timeline Just look around. Every town the same - Main Street dying, Dollar General rising. It's the march of globalism, the slow consumption of our local identities. The prophet Isaiah warned of this - a time when the people would be "oppressed, each and every one" (Isaiah 51:20). We're living through the tribulation he described.

The Revelation Warning And the book of Revelation is even more explicit. It speaks of a global economic system controlled by a single entity - "the beast" - that will monitor every transaction, every movement (Revelation 13:16-17). The technology to fulfill that prophecy is here. Brain chips. Digital currency. The surveillance state is upon us.

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
