I don't get out much these days. After a run-in with human traffickers left me a PTSD-ridden hermit, the only time I brave the outside world is when I have no choice. Today was one of those days.

Bundled against the winter chill, I zipped down to the local Dollar General on my e-scooter. The fluorescent glare and chemical stench hit me as soon as I walked through the doors. It's the same soul-sucking experience in every small town - Main Street dying, the corporate machine consuming.

But this isn't just another big box takeover. What if the spread of Dollar General stores is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy?

The Daniel Prophecy: A Kingdom Divided

The prophet Daniel gave us a chilling vision of end-times events over 2,500 years ago. He described a final global empire, "partly strong and partly fragile," that would crush and devour the whole earth.

Does that sound familiar? The Dollar General juggernaut, invading every corner of small-town America, is the embodiment of Daniel's prophecy. A kingdom divided, with one foot in the past and one in the technological future. Partly strong in its market dominance, yet partly fragile in its soulless, cookie-cutter model.

And then there's the book of Revelation. The apostle John's prophetic visions paint an even more disturbing picture - a global system of control where "no one can buy or sell" without submitting to the "mark of the beast."

The technological infrastructure is already in place. Brain chips. Digital currency. A cashless society where every transaction is tracked. All the pieces are falling into place, just as the Bible foretold.

The Dollar General empire, sprawling across the nation, is the perfect delivery system for this prophetic scenario. Soulless retail outlets, stamping out local economies and mocking the idea of community.

Is this the mark we've been warned about for two millennia? The beast system, disguised as consumer convenience?
