The Betrayal of the Watchmen Those in positions of power and influence should be sounding the alarm. But instead, they are colluding with the enemy. The shepherds have become wolves, leading the flock astray. "His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge" (Isaiah 56:10).
The Deception of the Masses The people are being lulled to sleep, mesmerized by the siren song of false security and material abundance. But it is all a façade, a manufactured illusion to lull the masses into compliance. "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions" (2 Timothy 4:3).
