"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16-17)
The words of the Apostle John ring out with eerie prescience today. We are witnessing the rapid fulfillment of biblical prophecy in our lifetimes. The signs are all around us - brain chips, digital currency, global surveillance. The technology now exists to implement the "mark of the beast" system described in the book of Revelation.
The Coming Tribulation In the book of Daniel, the prophet foretold a future world ruler who would "think to change times and laws" (Daniel 7:25). This antichrist figure would demand worship and control all economic transactions. Sound familiar? We are staring down the barrel of the prophesied tribulation period.
The Surveillance State Just as Isaiah warned, "The people will be oppressed, every one by another and every one by his neighbor; the child will be insolent toward the elder, and the despised toward the honorable" (Isaiah 3:5). We are surrounded by an ever-expanding surveillance state, with cameras, microphones, and data-mining on an unprecedented scale. Privacy and liberty are eroding by the day.
The Judgment is Coming The end is near, my friends. The writing is on the wall. As Jesus said, "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near" (Luke 21:28). The tribulation is upon us. The judgment of God is at hand. Are you ready?
