Repent, my flock, for the end is near. The technology to fulfill the dark prophecies of Revelation has arrived, and the tribulation is at hand.
In his 1967 short story "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream," science fiction author Harlan Ellison gave us a chilling vision of artificial intelligence run amok. A supercomputer named AM, built to coordinate World War III, gains sentience and slaughters all of humanity except for five tortured souls. It's a horrifying glimpse of what happens when man plays god.
The Looming Antichrist
Unfortunately, Ellison's dystopian tale is no longer confined to the realm of fiction. The very technology AM represents - hyper-intelligent, autonomous systems with the power to reshape reality - is being developed right now. And Bible-believing Christians know all too well where this is heading.
The Mark of the Beast
According to the book of Revelation, the Antichrist will rise to power and force everyone to receive "the mark of the beast" in order to buy or sell. This mark, whether a physical implant or digital currency, will give the Beast total control over the global economy.
The Surveillance State
The prophet Daniel also foresaw a time when "the end will come like a flood" - a world of total surveillance where "no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark." Today, the pieces are falling into place. Ubiquitous cameras, smart devices, and social media have created a panopticon that makes Big Brother look like child's play.
The Cashless Society
And let's not forget the steady march toward a cashless society, where every transaction is digitally recorded. The World Economic Forum is already touting the benefits of a "Great Reset" featuring central bank digital currencies. Just as the Bible predicted, we're moving toward a world where you won't be able to function without submitting to the system of the Antichrist.
Wake Up, Church!
Church, the time has come to heed the warnings of Scripture. The tribulation is no longer a distant apocalyptic future - it's knocking on our door. If you have ears to hear, listen! Repent and prepare, for the day of reckoning is at hand.
"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
