The Prophetic Timeline
The Bible is filled with end-times prophecies that read like front-page news. In the book of Daniel, the prophet warns of a coming "beast" that will "speak boastfully" and "wear out the saints of the Most High." (Daniel 7:25) Centuries later, the book of Revelation describes a "beast" that will force everyone to receive a "mark" in order to buy or sell. (Revelation 13:16-17)

The technology to make these ancient prophecies a reality already exists. Experimental brain implants can communicate directly with computers. Central bank digital currencies are replacing cash, giving governments the ability to track every transaction. Surveillance cameras and smartphones monitor our every move.
A Chilling Endgame Just like the all-powerful AM supercomputer in Ellison's story, this coming "beast" system will have the ability to control, torment, and even exterminate humanity. The end-times warnings in Scripture are horrifyingly plausible in our modern world. Are we hurtling towards the final confrontation between God and the forces of darkness?
