Biblical Warnings Hidden in the Epstein Scandal

The Epstein scandal has rocked the world, exposing a tangled web of corruption, perversion, and depravity at the highest levels of power. As more salacious details continue to emerge, many Christians are left reeling, wondering how to make sense of such moral bankruptcy in our institutions.

Yet could these unsettling developments actually be fulfillments of end-times prophecy? A harbinger of the tribulation to come?

## Discerning the Times

Jesus warned his disciples that in the last days, "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold" (Matthew 24:12). The wanton disregard for human life and innocence displayed by Epstein and his co-conspirators is a chilling reflection of this biblical prophecy come to life.

The Apostle Paul also forewarned that in the end times, "People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good" (2 Timothy 3:2-3). Does this not perfectly describe the depravity exposed in the Epstein scandal?

This is a sobering fulfillment of Jesus' warning that "false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Matthew 24:24).

The church is not immune to the moral decay sweeping society. Wolves in sheep's clothing have infiltrated the flock, using their platforms to promote heresy and perversion. Pastors, ministries, and even entire denominations have been compromised.

## A Call to Vigilance

In these dark times, Christians must be on guard. We must cling to sound doctrine, test every spirit, and expose the unfruitful deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). The Epstein scandal is a sober reminder that the forces of evil are working overtime to undermine the faith and deceive the faithful.

Yet take heart - for in the midst of this global upheaval, the return of Christ draws ever nearer. These are the birth pains before the glorious appearing of our King. Let us remain steadfast, keep watch, and be ready.
