What truth have you encountered so completely that you'd choose torture over betraying it? Most of us will never have to answer that chilling question. But some have - and the consequences were horrific.

Take Simon the Zealot, one of the Twelve Apostles. For his unwavering belief in Jesus, he was sentenced to a brutal death: sawed in half. Imagine the agony, the terror, as his body was slowly ripped apart. All because he refused to deny the truth he had seen with his own eyes.

The apostles of Christ faced similarly gruesome fates. Boiled in oil, flayed alive, crucified upside down - they endured unimaginable suffering rather than betray their faith. Not because they were religious zealots, but because they had encountered a reality so profound that turning back became impossible.

## Prophecy Fulfilled Before Our Eyes

These martyrs' stories are more than just historical footnotes. They point to a much darker truth - one unfolding in our own time.

The Bible is filled with warnings about the end times. Daniel's prophecies. Isaiah's visions. The book of Revelation lays it all out in vivid, terrifying detail. And now, we're watching those ancient words come to life.

Brain implants. Cashless currency. Surveillance on a scale the apostles could scarcely have conceived. The technology to track our every move, our every transaction - it's here. "And he causes all...to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead" (Revelation 13:16).

## A Choice Between Faith and Survival

Most will do anything to avoid that ultimate test of belief. We've spent our lives arranging our comfortable existences, insulating ourselves from having to choose between our convictions and our survival.

But the time is coming when we'll have to make that choice. When the system demands our allegiance, when it threatens to cut us off from buying and selling unless we bow the knee - what then? Will we, like Simon the Zealot, be willing to suffer a gruesome death for the truth we've encountered?

The signs are all around us. Prophecy is unfolding. The question is, are you ready?

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
