I don't leave my house much anymore. After getting stabbed investigating a child trafficking operation out west a few years back, I developed severe PTSD and became something of a hermit. But every now and then, I need to brave the great outdoors.

Today was one of those days. Bundled up against the freezing winter, I zipped down to the local Dollar General on my e-scooter. The harsh fluorescent lights and chemical smell hit me the moment I walked in. This place feels...toxic. Poisonous, even.

There's a reason for that. Because what's happening to small town America is straight out of biblical prophecy.

The Slow Death of Main Street

Daniel's vision warned of a "fourth beast, dreadful and terrible" that would "devour the whole earth." That "beast" is now manifest in the form of corporate conglomerates like Dollar General. They're systematically snuffing out the life of every Main Street in this country.

Where there was once a thriving community hub, a Dollar General now stands - soulless, inhuman, draining the lifeblood of the town. Look around - it's the same story in every city, every town. Faces and places change, but the corporate machine never rests.

The Book of Isaiah had a name for this phenomenon: "Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room." The prophet saw it coming over 2,500 years ago. And now we're living through the fulfillment of that ancient warning.

The End of Days

This isn't just a local issue. It's a sign of the times. The Bible is clear that the "end of days" will be marked by a great consolidation of wealth and power. A handful of global elites will control everything - including the very soul of society.

Look around. What do you see? Mega-corporations gobbling up every last shred of independence. Big Tech surveilling our every move. Central banks ushering in a new digital currency to rule them all. It's all right there in the book of Revelation.

The future isn't bright, my friends. In fact, it's downright apocalyptic. But that's no reason to give in to despair. The prophets foresaw this day - and called us to stand firm in the face of it.

Are you ready?

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
