The End is Nigh
I don't leave my house much anymore. After getting shanked investigating a child trafficking ring a few years back, I developed a nasty case of PTSD and became a full-blown hermit. But every now and then, I have to brave the apocalyptic hellscape we call civilization.
Today was one of those days. Bundled against the frigid winter, I hopped on my e-scooter and zipped down to the local Dollar General. The moment I walked in, I was hit by that familiar institutional stench - plastic, cardboard, and a whiff of something chemical. The harsh fluorescent lights made everything look slightly poisonous.
This isn't just a retail shift. It's a harbinger of darkness.
The Rise of the Corporate Behemoth
The Dollar General empire has been rapidly devouring small-town America. Where the family-owned hardware store and mom-and-pop grocer once thrived, the ubiquitous yellow-and-black signage of Dollar General now reigns supreme.
It's not just an economic takeover - it's a spiritual one. The Bible warned us 2,000 years ago that a one-world economic system controlled by a global elite would be a key sign of the end times. As the corporate machine consumes our communities, it's stealing the soul of our nation.
The Prophet's Warning
The book of Daniel paints a vivid picture of this prophetic timeline. The prophet Daniel foresaw a succession of world empires - Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome - each one more tyrannical than the last.
But it's the final empire, the "ten-horned beast", that should really concern us. This global economic superpower would seek to control every facet of human life, from currency to technology to religion. Sound familiar?
The Writing on the Wall
Just as Daniel interpreted the haunting words on the wall for the Babylonian king, we must open our eyes to the ominous signs all around us. Revelation 13 describes a time when "no one will be able to buy or sell" without submitting to the mark of the beast. Digital currency. Brain chips. The surveillance state.
The technology exists right now. The end-times clock is ticking. When the Dollar General monoculture finally eliminates the last vestiges of small-town America, we'll know the final act is about to begin.
"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
