As a Christian investigative journalist, I've seen a lot over the years. But the chilling events unfolding today have me on high alert. The parallels to biblical prophecy are unmistakable - and deeply troubling.
The Gathering Storm
It's no secret that the world is in turmoil. Wars, rumors of wars, nation rising against nation - just as Jesus foretold in Matthew 24. From Ukraine to Taiwan, the drumbeats of conflict grow ever louder.
But the true danger lies not just in physical battles, but in the unseen spiritual warfare raging all around us. The enemy is working overtime to sow seeds of division, fear, and despair. And the signs are all there, if you have eyes to see.
The Mark of the Beast
Perhaps most disturbing are the technological advancements that eerily mirror the prophetic warnings in the book of Revelation. Brain chips, digital currency, surveillance on a scale our ancestors could scarcely imagine. The infrastructure for the Mark of the Beast system is already in place.
"He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16-17)
Wake Up, Church!
As a parent, I'm deeply troubled by what the future may hold for my children. The darkness is spreading, and many remain oblivious to the prophetic signs all around them. It's time for the church to shake off its slumber and sound the alarm.
The Watchman's Warning
"But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand." (Ezekiel 33:6)
The hour is late, my friends. The time has come to open our eyes, heed the warnings of Scripture, and prepare our hearts for the days ahead. For the storm clouds are gathering, and the final curtain is about to fall.
"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
