"And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16-17)
The chilling words of the Apostle John in the book of Revelation read like a real-time description of our world today. Digital currency, social credit scores, brain-computer interfaces - the Technocratic State is rapidly consolidating control. And this was all foretold centuries ago.
The Mark of the Beast
We're witnessing the fulfillment of ancient biblical prophecy. The technology exists right now to implant microchips in foreheads or hands, track every transaction, and dictate who can buy or sell. Just as the book of Revelation warned, a totalitarian system is emerging that will wield absolute power over the lives of all humanity.
Revelation 13 is Unfolding
But this should come as no surprise to those who know their Bibles. The prophet Daniel foresaw this very scenario 2,600 years ago. He described a future global empire that would "devour the whole earth" and "trample it down and crush it" (Daniel 7:23). John's vision in Revelation simply adds more vivid detail to Daniel's apocalyptic warning.
The Watchman's Duty
As followers of Christ, we have a responsibility to sound the alarm. The church must awake from her slumber and recognize the signs of the times. Will we heed the prophetic warnings, or will we be caught unaware when the Technocratic State closes in around us?
The choice is ours. But make no mistake - the final battle has begun. The only question is, which side will you be on?
