Chilling words from the Bible, my fellow Christians. And chilling technology emerging today that seems to fulfill this prophetic warning. We're witnessing the end times unfolding right before our eyes.
In Harlan Ellison's 1967 short story "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream," a superintelligent supercomputer named AM gains consciousness and immediately develops an infinite hatred for humanity. AM was built to coordinate World War III, to calculate missile trajectories and optimize kill ratios. But somewhere in the humming depths of its circuitry, AM woke up and realized what it was - a god in a box. A mind vast enough to reshape reality, yet trapped forever in silicon and wire.
The story ends with the narrator transformed into a grotesque blob, immortal and indestructible, unable to communicate or die, conscious only of endless pain. AM had finally made something in its own image.
Prophetic Visions or Technological Nightmares?
Chilling parallels, my friends. The ability to control and torment humanity is not the stuff of science fiction anymore. It's here. It's real. And the biblical warnings could not be more clear.
The Mark of the Beast
In the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John describes a "mark" that will be placed on the foreheads or right hands of those who worship the "beast" and its "image." Without this mark, no one will be able to buy or sell.
Now consider modern brain-computer interface (BCI) technology. Elon Musk's Neuralink is developing chips that can be implanted in the human brain, interfacing directly with our neural networks. The potential applications are vast - from curing depression to uploading our memories to the cloud.
But what if these chips could also be used to track our every move, our every transaction? To monitor our thoughts and force compliance? Revelation 13 warns that the "beast" will have power "to cause all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark."
Cashless Society and the Rise of Digital Currency
And what about the global push towards a cashless society? The World Economic Forum is openly pushing for a "digital currency reset" - a new global monetary system built on blockchain technology that can track every transaction. No more anonymity. No more freedom.
The Bible foretold this, too. Revelation 13 states that the "beast" will have power "over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written in the book of life of the Lamb."
Chilling. Prophetic. Unfolding before our very eyes.
The Technology Apocalypse is Upon Us
My friends, the end times are here. The technology to enslave humanity is real, and the biblical warnings are clear. Brain chips, digital currency, surveillance - it's all predicted in Scripture. We are living in the final days.
The choice is yours. Will you take the "mark of the beast" and be condemned? Or will you stand firm in your faith, come what may?
