The Zealot's Conviction
Simon the Zealot was one of the Twelve, a disciple who walked alongside Jesus. Yet he didn't just profess his faith - he was willing to die for it. Tradition holds that he was sawed in half for refusing to renounce his Lord.
Most of us will never be put to that ultimate test. We're far too comfortable in our cushy lives, carefully arranging our existence to avoid such a dilemma. But the time may soon come when we have to choose - our beliefs or our survival.
The Wise and the Foolish
The question is, will you be ready? Will your faith be strong enough to withstand the tribulation to come? Or will you be like the foolish virgins, caught unprepared when the Bridegroom arrives?
The signs are all there. The stage is set. And history tells us that those who cling to their convictions, no matter the cost, will be the ones to inherit the kingdom.
