It's February, which can only mean one thing: I've got bronchitis. Again. Every single year without fail, the cold winter months find me, not in a Hallmark movie kind of way, but in an "your lungs are at war with your body" sort of situation.
Bronchitis is the worst. Imagine your chest cavity being filled with broken accordion pieces and wet gravel, played by an angry raccoon at 3am. That's pretty much the experience. You cough so hard you pull muscles you didn't even know existed, and your dog looks at you with genuine concern (and that's saying something, since dogs happily eat garbage for fun).
But as a freelance journalist, there's no "sick day" for me. No HR sending a fruit basket telling me to "take all the time I need." Nope, I've gotta power through, hacking and wheezing my way to an article deadline, even as the world around me spirals towards its prophetic end.
The Signs of the Times Because friends, we are living in the end times. The biblical signs of Christ's second coming are staring us right in the face, and the tribulation is quickly approaching. Just look around - the world is in chaos. Wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes...the horsemen of the apocalypse are saddling up as we speak.
The technology for the Mark of the Beast already exists, with RFID chips and digital currency tracking our every move. The Bible warned us 2,000 years ago in Revelation 13 - the infrastructure for the Antichrist's totalitarian regime is being built right now, before our very eyes.
Spiritual Warfare And let's not forget the unseen realm of spiritual warfare. The forces of darkness are amassing, preparing for the final battle. Satan knows his time is short, so he's unleashing his demonic horde to deceive the nations and drag as many souls to hell as possible.
This is no time for complacency, my fellow believers. We must put on the full armor of God and stand firm against the schemes of the devil. The day of the Lord is near, and judgment is coming to those who reject Christ. Are you ready to meet your maker?
The Rapture Timing Debate Of course, the big question on everyone's mind is - when will the rapture happen? Pre-trib? Mid-trib? Post-trib? The timing of Christ's return and the catching away of the church has been debated for centuries. But one thing is clear: the signs are all around us, and time is running out.
Ultimately, the exact date is known only to the Father. But the time is short, my friends. We must be vigilant, sober-minded, and prepared for the days ahead. For the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
