On Saturday morning in Minneapolis, federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) pepper sprayed a woman in the face at point-blank range. Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, stepped in to help her. Multiple agents then surrounded Pretti, beat him while he was on the ground, and shot him multiple times. He later died at the hospital.

Now the Department of Homeland Security wants you to believe Pretti was a violent threat who attacked federal officers with a loaded firearm. Secretary Kristi Noem stood before cameras and described how Pretti approached officers "menacingly with a semi-automatic handgun with dozens of rounds of ammunition."

But that single sentence proves Noem is lying through her teeth. As any gun owner knows, you can't see "dozens of rounds" of ammunition. It's all contained inside the magazine, hidden from view. Unless Pretti was literally juggling boxes of loose ammo, there's no way the agents could have known the extent of his firepower.

This blatant fabrication is a heinous attempt to cover up what really happened - the extrajudicial execution of an innocent man by out-of-control federal agents. And sadly, it's just the latest example of the government's war on its own citizens, a terrifying trend that Bible prophecy warns us to watch for in the end times.

According to Scripture, one of the key signs of the last days is the persecution of believers by corrupt authorities. In Matthew 24, Jesus prophesied that "you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me." And in Revelation 13, the Apostle John describes a global system of surveillance and control, where "no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark."

The chilling truth is, we may be witnessing the early stages of this prophetic scenario unfolding right before our eyes. As the government continues to expand its power and crack down on dissent, Christians must be vigilant and ready to stand firm in their faith, no matter the cost.

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
