The Coming Tribulation: Are We Entering the Biblical End Times?

As a worried parent, I can't help but look at the world today and feel a sense of dread. The chaos, the division, the upheaval - it's all starting to feel like we're hurtling towards some kind of biblical reckoning.

The COVID-19 pandemic, the economic fallout, the protests and riots in the streets. It's the perfect storm of signs that have been foretold in Scripture for centuries. We're not just living in unprecedented times - we're living in prophetic times.

The Daniel Prophecy The prophet Daniel laid it all out thousands of years ago. In his apocalyptic visions, he described a series of world empires that would rise and fall, culminating in a final global power that would seek to control every aspect of human life.

This "beast" kingdom, as Daniel calls it, would be marked by a totalitarian leader who demands worship and complete submission. The populace would be microchipped, their every transaction monitored by a cashless digital currency.

Sound familiar? Because it's happening right now, before our very eyes.

The Isaiah Warning The Old Testament prophet Isaiah gave us another chilling preview of our current predicament. He warned of a time when "the people will be oppressed, every one by another and every one by his neighbor" - a perfect description of the social unrest and division gripping nations worldwide.

Isaiah also foretold the breakdown of the family unit, with "children" rebelling against "elders" - something we're tragically seeing play out on our city streets. This moral decay, he said, would pave the way for the arrival of the Antichrist and the subsequent great tribulation.

The Revelation Timeline And of course, the book of Revelation paints the most vivid portrait of the end times to come. The four horsemen of the apocalypse - conquest, war, famine, and death - are galloping across the globe as we speak.

Pestilence, economic collapse, violence - it's all unfolding with alarming speed. The stage is being set for the final seven-year tribulation period, when the Antichrist will rise to power and the world will be plunged into its darkest hour.

Are We There Yet? The signs are all around us, my friends. The technology exists right now to fulfill ancient prophecies - brain chips, cashless digital currency, a global surveillance state. The question is no longer if the tribulation is coming, but when.

As a parent, this terrifies me. But it also fills me with a sense of urgency. Because if the biblical timeline is unfolding before our eyes, then the rapture of the church could be imminent. The time to get right with God is now.
