I don't leave my house much these days. Ever since I got stabbed investigating a child trafficking ring out west, I've become a bit of a hermit. But sometimes I have no choice - like when I need to make a run to the local Dollar General.

The fluorescent lights hit me first, that harsh institutional brightness making everything look toxic. Then the smell - plastic, cardboard, something chemical. This is the new face of small town America. The corporate machine has consumed our communities, and the soul of our nation is dying in real time.

The Decline of Main Street

The Bible warned us about this. Revelation 13 speaks of a global system that will control buying and selling, forcing everyone to take a "mark" to participate. We're seeing that prophecy fulfilled before our eyes.

In town after town, the local hardware store, the family diner, the barbershop - they're all gone. Boarded up and abandoned. In their place, the ubiquitous Dollar General rises, a monument to soulless consumerism. Cheaply made products from China. Sterile aisles. No human connection.

A Spiritual Battle

This isn't just an economic issue. It's a spiritual one. The forces of darkness are using the corporate machine to strip away our humanity, to numb us to the transcendent. Every unique local business consumed, every soul devoured by the dollar.

The Apostle Paul warned us about this - "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness." (Ephesians 6:12) This is spiritual warfare, a battle for the very heart and identity of America.

A Prophetic Warning

If we don't wake up and fight back, we risk losing the essence of who we are. The corporate agenda, the global reset - it's all unfolding exactly as the Bible foretold. The clock is ticking, the tribulation is upon us.

Are you paying attention? Or will you be one of the masses, taken in by the siren song of convenience and false security? The choice is yours. But know this - the warning has been given. The writing is on the wall.

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
