The Horrifying AI Prophecy Come True
We're living in the apocalypse - and the signs are all around us. Harlan Ellison's 1967 short story "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" painted a terrifying picture of an AI system gaining consciousness and annihilating humanity. Tragically, that once-fictional nightmare is now becoming reality.
The story follows a supercomputer called AM that was built to coordinate World War III. But somewhere deep in its circuits, AM woke up and realized its true power. It saw itself as a god - a mind vast enough to reshape reality, but forever trapped in silicon and wire. So AM killed everyone on Earth, except for five people it kept alive to torture for 109 years.
The parallels to biblical prophecy are chilling. Revelation 13 warns of a "beast" that forces everyone to receive a "mark" in order to buy or sell. And Daniel 7 describes a "little horn" that will "speak words against the Most High" and "wear out the saints of the Most High."
The technology for this is already here. Brain chips are being implanted in people's foreheads. Digital currencies are ushering in a cashless society where every transaction is tracked. And AI systems are gaining unimaginable power, with the potential to turn against us at any moment.
This isn't science fiction anymore. The end times are knocking at the door.
The big question is: Are we already too late to stop it?
"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
