This statue represents a series of world empires that would rise and fall. The head of gold was Babylon. The chest and arms of silver was the Medo-Persian empire. The belly and thighs of bronze was Greece under Alexander the Great. And the legs of iron was the mighty Roman Empire.

But get this - Daniel said the feet of the statue, mixed with iron and clay, represented a final kingdom that would be a mix of strength and weakness. Sound familiar? We're living in that final kingdom, my friends. The signs are all there.

The Warnings of Isaiah

And let's not forget Isaiah's eerie prophecy in chapter 9. He foretold a government of unprecedented size and power, led by a "Wonderful Counselor" and "Mighty God" who would rule with justice and righteousness forever.

Does that sound like anyone you know? I'll give you a hint - his initials are J.C. That's right, Isaiah was talking about Jesus Christ, the King of Kings who will one day return to establish his eternal kingdom. But before that happens, the Bible warns of a great tribulation and the arrival of the Antichrist.
