"The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months." - Revelation 13:5
The wolves are howling, and the end is near. Just like the boy who cried wolf, the world has ignored the warnings of Scripture for far too long. But now the prophecies of old are being fulfilled before our eyes.
The Wolves Encircle
Daniel's vision of four beasts rising from the sea - a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a terrifying fourth beast - is a prophetic blueprint for the last days. These beasts represent successive world empires that would rise and fall, culminating in a final global tyranny.
The fourth beast, with its iron teeth and bronze claws, is a chilling foreshadowing of the totalitarian regimes of the 20th century. Hitler's Nazi Germany. Stalin's Soviet Union. The parallels are unmistakable.
As we watch the unfolding of a new world order, the rise of a global technocracy, and the marginalization of individual liberties, it's clear that the wolves are circling once more. The voracious beast of Revelation is stirring, eager to devour all in its path.
The Warning Unheeded
For centuries, the prophets of old have sounded the alarm. Isaiah warned of a coming tribulation, a time of "distress and darkness, of anguish and gloom." Jeremiah foretold of a great falling away, where "the faithful have disappeared from the land."
Yet the world has chosen to mock and dismiss these warnings. Like the villagers in the parable, we have heard the cries of "wolf" one too many times. We have grown numb to the clear signs all around us.
The Watchman's Cry
But the watchman on the wall will not be silenced. From the pages of Scripture, the voices of the prophets echo through the ages, demanding that we open our eyes and see the truth.
The wolves are no longer at the door - they are inside the gate, prowling the streets. The time has come to heed the warnings of old, to gird ourselves for the trials to come. For the day of reckoning is at hand, and the final chapter of human history is about to be written.
"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
