Think about the parallels to history. When the Nazis began their sinister rise to power in 1930s Germany, most people dismissed the warning signs. "It can't happen here," they said. Until it did.
The same demonic influence that empowered the Nazi regime is stirring again. The wolf of antichrist spirit is baring its fangs, and the world is sleepwalking into the jaws of destruction.
## Putting on the Armor of God
But God has not left us defenseless. In Ephesians 6, the Apostle Paul lays out the spiritual armor we must don to withstand the evil day. The belt of truth. The breastplate of righteousness. The shield of faith. The helmet of salvation.
This is not child's play. This is an all-out war for the very souls of humanity. The principalities and powers of darkness are marshaling their forces. If we don't wake up and suit up, we'll be consumed.
