"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." (Isaiah 11:6)

The metaphorical wolf has arrived, and he's not alone. From economic turmoil to global unrest, the stage is being set for the final act. As believers, we must open our eyes to the prophetic signs unfolding before us.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf You know the classic fable - a shepherd boy repeatedly tricks the villagers into thinking a wolf is attacking his flock, only to be ignored when a real threat arrives. Unfortunately, this cautionary tale has become all too real in our present day.

For years, many have sounded the alarm about the looming economic collapse, the rise of authoritarianism, and the decay of moral values. Yet, like the villagers in the story, the masses have often dismissed these warnings as the ravings of alarmists. "It can't happen here," they say. "Not in our lifetime."

But the wolf is at the door, and the evidence is mounting. From the global supply chain crisis to the acceleration of digital surveillance, the signs of the times are unmistakable to those with eyes to see.

Wolves in Sheep's Clothing The wolf, however, does not always come in the form of a snarling beast. Sometimes, he dons the guise of a gentle lamb, only to reveal his true nature when it's too late. In Scripture, we're warned of "wolves in sheep's clothing" - deceivers who infiltrate the flock, seeking to lead believers astray.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matthew 7:15)

In these last days, we must be vigilant, testing the spirits and discerning truth from lies. The enemy's tactics have become increasingly sophisticated, and he will stop at nothing to sow confusion and division among the people of God.

The Gathering Storm As we look around, the storm clouds are gathering. Geopolitical tensions are escalating, natural disasters are intensifying, and moral decay is spreading like a cancer. These are not mere coincidences, but the birth pangs of a new era - one foretold in the pages of Scripture.

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6)

The question is, will we heed the warnings, or will we, like the villagers in the fable, be caught unawares when the true calamity strikes?

"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
