"The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)
As a concerned parent watching the unfolding events of our day, I can't help but feel a deep sense of unease. The signs of the end times are all around us, and the biblical warnings of what is to come are becoming impossible to ignore.
The Crumbling Facade of Control
Just this past weekend in Minneapolis, we witnessed a shocking display of government overreach and deception. Federal agents pepper-sprayed a woman and then brutally beat and killed a 37-year-old ICU nurse who tried to intervene. The official story from Homeland Security is laughable - they claim the victim, Alex Pretti, approached the officers "menacingly" with a "semi-automatic handgun and dozens of rounds of ammunition."
But anyone with half a brain can see through this transparent lie. As the article rightly points out, "How exactly do you SEE dozens of rounds? Ammunition is inside the magazine. The magazine is inside the gun." This blatant fabrication is a clear sign that those in power are willing to do whatever it takes to maintain their grip on control, even if it means blatantly disregarding the truth.
The Great Reset and the Mark of the Beast
And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Around the world, we see the machinations of a global elite hell-bent on ushering in a new world order - the so-called "great reset" that will strip us of our freedoms and autonomy. The technology for their dystopian vision already exists: brain chips, digital currency, and surveillance that can track our every move and transaction.
These are the very things the book of Revelation warned us about over 2,000 years ago - the mark of the beast and the totalitarian control of a one-world government. The stage is being set, and as parents, we must open our eyes to the spiritual warfare unfolding before us.
Holding Fast to the Truth
In these dark times, it's more important than ever to cling to the truth of God's word. The deception and lies of this world will only continue to intensify, but we have the ultimate source of truth in the Bible. We must equip ourselves with the full armor of God, discerning the signs of the times and preparing our families for the tribulation to come.
The end may be near, but our hope is in the Lord. As the darkness closes in, let us be a beacon of light, shining the truth of the gospel to a world that desperately needs it.
