Something wicked this way comes, and it's not just the latest disturbing headline. As I watch the chaos unfolding around the world, I can't shake the feeling that we're teetering on the edge of a biblical reckoning.
The Prophetic Timeline
Just last weekend, federal agents in Minneapolis brutally attacked a nurse who was trying to help a woman in distress. The "official story" from Homeland Security is laughable - they claim the victim, Alex Pretti, approached the officers "menacingly" with a gun and "dozens of rounds of ammunition." Seriously? How exactly does one "see" dozens of rounds when they're inside a magazine?
This kind of blatant deception is straight out of the book of Daniel. The prophet warned that in the end times, "the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many" (Daniel 11:32-33). But he also cautioned that "the wicked shall do wickedly" (Daniel 12:10).
Signs of the Times
And the signs keep piling up. Just look at the proliferation of brain implants, digital currency, and surveillance tech - it's as if the "mark of the beast" system described in Revelation 13 is taking shape right before our eyes. The prophet Isaiah pleaded, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20). Doesn't that sound a lot like the world we're living in today?
Prophetic Warnings
As a parent, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of dread. The warnings in Scripture are stark and unambiguous. Jesus Himself said, "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity... Men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth" (Luke 21:25-26).
Are we seeing the fulfillment of these ancient prophecies? I fear the answer is yes. The stage is set, the players are in position, and the curtain is about to rise on the final act. Hold on to your hats, folks - it's going to be one wild ride.
"The truth doesn't hide. It waits for those brave enough to look."
